Clan of Champions / Gladiator VS is a single and multiplayer action fighting game set in a fantasy setting. It was released on November 23, 2011 in Japan as a PS3 exclusive. The game was announced at TGS 2011 to be released in Europe and North America in 2012 by NIS America on behalf of developer Acquire.
The game is also known as Gladiator Vs. and is a part of the Gladiator series which has included Gladiator Begins (2010, PSP) and Colosseum: Road to Freedom (2005, PS2); the game is the first not to be set in ancient Rome.
The game includes single-player, cooperative (up to 3 player) and 3 vs. 3 player game modes, with player avatars including elf, human or orc. Players will begin in a city where they can view their character, adjust various statistics, and choose a mission to play online or offline. Combination skills may be executed in battle depending on how the attack buttons are pressed. Weapons and armor that the enemies drop can be picked up and used by the player. Once victorious, players will get money and may purchase various items.

Mortal Kombat is a arcade fighting game in which players battle opponents in one-on-one matches. The fighter that completely drains the opponent’s health bar first wins the round, and the first to win two rounds wins the match. Each round is timed; if both fighters still have health remaining when time runs out, the one with more health wins the round.
Mortal Kombat 1: Goro lives… A 2,000 year old half human dragon Goro remains undefeated for the past 500 years. He won the title of grand champion by defeating Kung Lao, a shaolin fighting monk. It was during this period that the tournament fell into Shang Tsung’s hands and was corrupted.

Mortal Kombat II: 500 years ago, Shang Tsung was banished to the Earth Realm. With the aid of Goro he was to unbalance the furies and doom the planet to a chaotic existence. By seizing control of the shaolin tournament he tried to tip the scales of order towards chaos. Only seven warriors survived the battles and Shang Tsung’s scheme would come to a violent end at the hands of Liu Kang. Breaking The Rules The Roman Tournament is a good fighting game. The controls are straightforward, and mashing the four attack buttons results in some neat special attacks. Blocking is generally useless (it still stuns you, but removes the damage), which helps to speed up the action and produce some action-packed fights with relatively quick resolutions. The game is a matter of timing and range: choosing the right attack at the right time and engaging the enemy at the appropriate distance for the attack. Changing your focus between enemies takes some practice and precise facing, but with the subtle indicator used by the game, it’s not too bad. The AI is a competent opponent, stringing effective attacks together. The large chaotic battles involving up to eight people at one time are a signature of the game and make some distinctive action. Those looking for a realistic fighting game featuring multiple simultaneous opponents will be pleased by Breaking The Rules.
